The firm was established in 2008 by Peter Bowles in the bustling town of Saintfield, an expanding town with exciting developments at Saintfield Mill and Birch Lane amongst others, as well as a number of new and established businesses within the town.
Peter established the firm after previously working for two large Belfast City Centre practices. Through his career development in these two practices, Peter developed a strong reputation and expertise in civil litigation having acted for trade unions, various health trusts, insurance companies, particularly in the areas of personal injury, defamation, land and right of way disputes, insolvency and credit control.
Within these areas Peter formed particular niche practices in the following areas: -
- Medical negligence, having acted on behalf of many of the Health & Social Services Trusts in Northern Ireland and latterly on behalf of many claimants.
- Defamation, successfully advising many individuals in protecting their reputation.
- Industrial disease and injuries, having acted on behalf of many individuals and sadly widows in cases where they or their next of kin were exposed to asbestos, often achieving settlement sums in excess of £100,000. Furthermore, acting on behalf of many police officers, ex-army and industrial workers in pursuing cases for exposure to excessive noise causing noise induced deafness.
